RCIA (Rite Of Christian Initiation Of Adults)

The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a process for those considering membership in the Catholic Church. Specifically, it is
- for those who are not baptized and are in the process of making a decision to become Catholic;
- for those who were baptized in another faith and are thinking of becoming Catholic;
- for those who were baptized Roman Catholic and received no formal religious education/training afterwards.
The process is designed to assist those interested in the Catholic faith in learning about our faith, our traditions, and our celebrations. Each person is invited to reflect on his/her own relationship with God and the faith community. As we journey through this process together, each candidate has the freedom to make a personal decision about becoming Catholic.
If you or someone you know might be interested in RCIA, please call Sister Kathy (847-679-1202) for more information.
